Busy Bees

Supporting social growth, creativity, and early learning through hands-on exploration and structured activities.

The Child:

Our toddler program is designed for children between the ages of 18-30 months old during an exciting stage of growing independence and early learning. Educators encourage children to build confidence, communication skills, and positive social interactions through engaging activities, guided routines, and collaborative play experiences.

Children are supported as they learn important developmental foundations including listening, following directions, taking turns, problem-solving, and expressing themselves confidently within a caring and encouraging environment.

Learning Environment:

Children participate in a variety of activities that support cognitive, social, creative, and physical development throughout the day. Learning experiences include colours, shapes, numbers, alphabet recognition, storytelling, music, poems, arts and crafts, puzzles, lacing, colouring, cutting activities, and imaginative play.

Outdoor play, indoor movement activities, dancing, and group games help strengthen gross motor skills while fine motor development is encouraged through hands-on exploration and creative activities. Circle time supports language development, communication, and self-expression while teaching children to interact respectfully with peers and educators.

The classroom also focuses on important life skills such as cooperation, sharing, responsibility, and learning to clean up independently.

Outcome:

Children develop confidence, communication, independence, coordination, social skills, and early academic foundations while building the readiness needed for future learning and development.
